By accessing or using DepFixer ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

DepFixer is a data intelligence dependency compatibility platform that provides:

• Dependency conflict detection and analysis
• Package compatibility checking across multiple versions
• Migration recommendations and guides
• Real-time package data and insights

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account by joining our waitlist and receiving an invitation. You must provide accurate and complete information.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of unauthorized access

3.3 Invite Codes

Invite codes are personal and non-transferable. Each code can only be used once and is valid for the email address it was sent to.

4. Usage Limits and Credits

4.1 Free Credits

New users receive 3 free analysis credits upon registration. Credits are used when performing dependency analyses.

4.2 Fair Use

You agree to:

• Use the Service for legitimate dependency analysis purposes
• Not abuse or attempt to circumvent usage limits
• Not use automated tools to scrape or access the Service
• Not resell or redistribute analysis results

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Upload malicious code or malware
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Collect or harvest information about other users
• Use the Service for competitive analysis of DepFixer itself

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Content

The Service, including its design, features, code, and database content, is owned by DepFixer and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of package.json files and project data you upload. By uploading, you grant us a license to process and analyze this data to provide the Service.

6.3 Analysis Results

Analysis results and reports generated by the Service are provided for your use but may not be redistributed commercially without permission.

7. Privacy and Data

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy. We collect and process data as described in that policy.

8. Disclaimers

8.1 Service "As Is"

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Accuracy or completeness of analysis results
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Fitness for a particular purpose

8.2 No Guarantee of Results

We do not guarantee that following our recommendations will resolve all dependency issues or that migrations will be successful. You are responsible for testing and validating any changes to your projects.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DepFixer shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Service interruptions or errors
• Decisions made based on analysis results

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the past 12 months.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DepFixer from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue the Service at any time
• Change pricing or credit systems
• Update features and functionality
• Suspend accounts for Terms violations

12. Termination

12.1 By You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using account settings.

12.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior.

12.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your access will cease and we may delete your data according to our retention policy.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration or in the appropriate courts.
